Cass Divine
Cass is a third year, undeclared student. She has plenty of potential, but hasn't quite figured out what to do with it yet. That would seem to make her the perfect test subject for our supernatural characters, who are desperate for results. However, they might have bitten off more than they can chew when they picked Cass.
Hobokenobe
Cass wasn't the first attempt by folks in Abe and Doug's positions to save the project. Once upon a time, there was another--and it didn't work out so well. On the upside, Cass might just find a mentor in this grimy, greasy fellow who's been through what she's going through.
Daniel Foreman
After having bumped into Cass accidentally on campus, they've struck up sort of friendship as Daniel gets dragged along, usually willingly, on Cass's adventures. Abe and Doug figure they're getting two test subjects for the price of one, and endorse his participation in the experiment.
Abraxis and Dougulon
Abe and Doug are from another world, another plane of existence above our own. They're currently in charge of this mortal experiment, and if it doesn't produce some new results, the whole project could get scrapped. Of course, if they were entirely competent, their bread and butter project might not be on the chopping block.
